El-'Adl: Islamic Economic Law Review is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the advancement of Islamic Economic Law as a distinct and dynamic field of study that integrates classical Islamic legal doctrines with contemporary economic and financial practices. It aims to contribute to the development of Islamic legal reasoning (ijtihād) that is responsive to the evolving challenges of modern financial systems while remaining firmly rooted in the principles of Sharīʿah.

The scope of El-'Adl: Islamic Economic Law Review includes, but is not limited to:

  • Islamic economic law and contemporary fiqh al-muʿāmalāt
  • Sharīʿah contracts and their legal reconstruction
  • Maqāṣid al-Sharīʿah in economic regulation and public policy
