    Ukhuwah: Journal of Islamic Law is a peer‑reviewed academic journal dedicated to advancing Islamic Law as a dynamic and multidimensional field of study. It integrates classical doctrines with contemporary challenges, providing a scholarly platform for critical discussion on the normative, philosophical, and practical dimensions of Islamic law in national and global contexts.

    The journal places Islamic Law at the core of its scholarly orientation, emphasizing rigorous analysis of fiqh, legal theory (uṣūl al‑fiqh), and modern regulatory frameworks. It seeks to foster the development of ijtihād that is responsive to evolving societal, political, and economic realities while remaining firmly rooted in the principles of Sharīʿah.

    The scope of Ukhuwah: Jurnal Ilmu Syariah includes, but is not limited to:

    Ukhuwah: Jurnal Ilmu Syariah is published biannually, with issues released in May and November. All submitted manuscripts undergo a rigorous double-blind peer-review process to ensure academic quality, originality, and scholarly contribution.

    As part of its academic and institutional commitment, Ukhuwah: Jurnal Ilmu Syariah is affiliated with and actively participates in the scholarly network of the Perkumpulan Dosen Hukum Keluarga Indonesia  (PDHKI), reinforcing its role in strengthening collaboration among scholars, study programs, and academic institutions dedicated to the development of Islamic Law in Indonesia.

    About El-'Adl

    El-'Adl: Islamic Economic Law Review is a peer-reviewed academic journal dedicated to the advancement of Islamic Economic Law as a distinct and dynamic field of study. The journal brings classical Islamic legal doctrines into constructive dialogue with contemporary economic, financial, institutional, and regulatory developments.

    The journal provides an academic platform for scholars, researchers, practitioners, and legal thinkers to examine the normative, philosophical, doctrinal, regulatory, and practical dimensions of Islamic Economic Law within both national and global contexts.

    El-'Adl places Islamic Economic Law at the center of its scholarly orientation. Particular attention is given to critical engagement with fiqh al-mu'amalat, Islamic legal theory (usul al-fiqh), maqasid al-Shariah, contemporary legislation, judicial practice, fatwas, and regulatory frameworks governing Islamic economic activities.

    Scholarly Mission
    El-'Adl aims to contribute to the development of Islamic legal reasoning (ijtihad) that is intellectually rigorous, contextually responsive, and capable of addressing contemporary economic and financial challenges while remaining grounded in the fundamental principles of Sharia.

    Manuscripts submitted to the journal undergo editorial screening and a rigorous double-blind peer-review process. The identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other during peer review in order to support objective, independent, and academically responsible assessment.
